Cannabis is a plant that is grown for its psychoactive and medicinal properties. The plant contains a number of chemical compounds known as cannabinoids, the most well-known of which is cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Extraction is a used to isolate and concentrate the desired compounds from the cannabis plant. Interest in cannabis extraction and, by extension, in cannabis extraction equipment was rising from earlier as countries legalized its medical and recreational variants.
Cannabidiol (CBD) is the cannabinoid (compound in cannabis) of most interest due to its healing and non-psychoactive properties. This naturally raises interest in CBD extraction technologies such as cryogenic ethanol extraction and CO2 Extraction. However, full spectrum cannabis extracts that also contain other cannabinoids and non-cannabinoids deliver best results due to synergic impact called “entourage effect”.
Our team starts by blending principles with practicalities and continue by connecting proven automation process blocks into a holistic solution.

Supercritical CO2 utilizes tunable pressure/temperature/batch time to selectively extract cannabinoids and terpenes from cannabis. This method produces clean, solvent-free extracts. Its precise control allows for customizable extract compositions, making it ideal for various product formulations. It's a preferred choice for creating high-quality vape oils and precise pharmaceutical-grade extracts, but there is a need for post-processing for cannabis as shown below.
Cannabis biomass is soaked in ultra-chilled ethanol, minimizing the extraction of undesirable chlorophyll and waxes. This highly efficient process yields a crude oil rich in cannabinoids, suitable for high-volume production. It's a highly scalable and cost-effective method for producing a cannabinoid-rich base oil, ready for subsequent purification steps as shown below.
This solventless method uses ice water and gentle agitation to mechanically separate valuable trichomes from cannabis flower. The trichomes are then filtered through a series of micron screens, producing various grades of "bubble hash." This process yields high-quality, pure concentrates, often dried to create a premium, meltable product. It is sometimes further pressed into Rosin as well.
